Web Design Color Palettes

Choosing the right color palette for your website is essential to creating a memorable brand and to your website’s success. The color scheme and other design choices including page layout, imagery, and font selection are then developed together to ensure that the final product is readable, accessible, and beautiful.

Need more inspiration? Is there a website that you particularly love for the color combinations? The Site Palette chrome extension is an amazing tool that will get the essential colors from any website.  You can also check out colorcombos.com: just enter the url for any website and the online tool will create a color combinations page where you can see all of the colors used on that website. Another site I like is coolors.co.  This color generator site is great for exploring color schemes. It also has an very cool option for generating color palettes from a photo. I like HTML CSS Color Picker to find color names and for identifying similar shades for a generated color as I tweak the palette.
